With this project the client wanted to get the brand in touch with a different group of potential enthusiasts. They wanted access to skate culture in NYC and to show that their bikes were cool but more importantly, affordable. Skate culture is tired of being sold to though so I decided that we’d shoot the entire piece on a 25 year mini dv camera. We partnered with Jerome Peel because and had a wild couple days blasting around the city streets, gorilla style for a change. This was a big brand piece for them so Luke, I really appreciate you trusting my vision and Royal Enfields money on some old tapes and film.
